Hi all, 84 Aspencade. Every now and then when I turn the ignition key on prior to starting the engine, I can hear a whiny type of buzzing sound emanating from under the false shelter.Drove me nuts, but it stops if I activate either turn signal or start the engine. It did it yesterday, but not today, strang. Anybody hear of something like this? Thanks, George

Problem is, it's a "now and then" noise. Intermittent conditions are tough to find. You're going to have to drive around for awhile with the tank off until it acts up.
Since it's an '84, you might want to consider the auto cancel control unit as a possibility.

That's a good idea GLhonda, my turn signals no longer cancel since I installed the EC harness. Not a big deal, but I've never figured out why that is.

The plot thickens. How long have you had the harness, and does the buzzing coincide with the addition?
We weren't there when you installed the harness, so I don't know where you tapped for power sources. If you get faux tank off, take a couple pics.
