Looking at the parts list for the water pump cap o-ring, it is listed at 46x2mm. My question is are the o-rings measured ID or OD by Honda?

I been here and recently too!

O rings are typically measured by ID (inside diameter) x CS (Cross section)

Honda's are listed at ID x CS.

Obviously the OD of a 46x2 is 50 (46+2+2)

I purchased o rings recently at the Global Oring
I used this to find my orings, water pump outlet orings 46x2 were .15 each, and while you have to pay a minimum to use this site I bought;
12 46 x 2 water pump outlet
10 54 x 2 Thermostat input
20 9.8 x 2.4 Air input exhaust

for 4.97 plus 4.73 shipping and a .03 charge. Just under 10 bucks
When i last bought a single 46x2 Honda oring it was nearly ten bucks with shipping, so now i have more than enough!

Thank you much!
Toni,
Call a local hydraulic. pneumatic or plumbing store and ask for a (dash) -033 o-ring. That is a 2 inch OD by 1 13/16 ID x 5/32 cs. Virtually identical to what you need.. Might well be the OEM o-ring converted to metric size. Can get it today if you are lucky and buy just one. No shipping either. Most standard o-rings are Nitrile or Buna which is perfect for heat and stands up to antifreeze

Thanks for the tip. Right now it isn't leaking. I got a 10 pack of nitrile o-rings coming from Amazon for $5 and it'll be at my house tomorrow.
