hello everyone can someone help me on how to change the windsheild on my 85 1200 aspencade

remove mirrors (for your first time, remove them then you will see that you only need to remove one bolt and lose the other) - pull the rubber to show the bolts

with mirrors off, put a flat screwdriver wrapped in a rag between the headlamp and the windshield trim and pop it up.

take the trim off and you will see 4 philips bolts holding the windshield.

HOW DOES THE CHROME COME OFF THE FRONT OF THE FAIRING IS IT CLIPPED ON OR FASTENED SOMEOTHER WAY

its clipped, thats why you use a flat screwdriver on it between the headlamp and the chrome trim.. it pops up,

take the chrome piece on each side and pull it up,there is a clip on the bottom that holds it in place.
