So I got my CB radio yesterday including an auto-volume module, which is great since my auto-volume isn't working. Hopefully I can figure out which wire to shunt in that has the speed information from the LTD computer.

My question, though, is that the CB radio did not come with the PTT switch. I've seen a couple on EBay, but upwards of $50 plus shipping makes no sense to me, so I'm going to be patient and get one when the price is right. In the meantime, I'm going to hack one together with the assumption that the switch is just a standard push button (contact made when pressed, open contact when released).

So does any body know the pin out layout in the CB wiring harness?

I'm not really concerned about being able to change the channel, but I'd like to at least set it to the right channel to start. Any ideas there?

thanks guys & gals

Alright, alright, so I let the voices in my head out for a bit, but I'm back on my meds now, and everything's back to normal.

Or at least as normal as it gets in my world :).
