...Just kidding. A friend rides motocross and I was thinking of getting involved with a 250 dirtbike or equivalent for off road fun. My question is simple. I would like to trailer the dirt bike but tow it with my GL1200 as it has a tow hitch already. Anyone know of a small trailer suitable for towing a dirtbike and some gear that won't be too big for the wing?

The little 40x48 Harbor Freight trailer comes to mind. Just bolt a channel rail in the center running about half way up the tounge and a few floor boards so you can put your feet down. Should handle it nicely.

I've seen small single rail trailers made to pull behind compact cars. One I saw would fold up to fit in the trunk of a car. I would think the 1200 could pull it fine. A 250 dirt bike isn't going to weight much over 250 lbs if that much.

pretty much doable, the 1200 will pull it with no probs
