So i'm working on my cousins 85 1200A. He has a set of Markland floorboards on it. I was changing out the complete exhaust, so I had to take the floorboard and crash bar off. The left side was cake, the right side, because the head is forward makes installation near impossible. Is there something I am missing? I cant install the boards and crash bar before the exhaust because of the way the crash bar goes through the header.....

Make sure the header clamp is loose at the muffler joint so you ran rotate the header pipe up and down. Slip the crash bar through the header and into position . Then roll the header pipe back up and install the nuts on the studs. Then bolt the crash bar in place. Leaving all the exhaust system nuts and bolts hand tight makes it easier to line things up. Then tighten them all up at once...Then install the floor boards
