Dear Friends, i have a problem with my starter, the problem begin when the starter relay swicht B burn, and the starter motor it was turning when i turn of the key.

at this moment i change the relay swicht B but the starter no turn on.

i extract the starter motor and I could notice that the motor not rotate freely, is that correct or i need repair the starter

The starter may have burned up when the relay stuck. Take it apart and see what it looks like inside.

The starter should turn in one direction. If it does not I would suspect the internals have a problem. Only stripping it will determine what that is.

The starter on the gl1500 doesn't turn easily by hand if that is what you mean, there is a lot of resistance to get it turning by hand.

Forgot to ask if you tried connecting the starter to a battery and test it. The body of the starter should be held against the - post of the battery and a cable attached to the battery + should be tipped against the starters power terminal. If it doesn't spin over then you will have to pull it apart.
