Does any one know where the best place is to break into the fuel system is, I have an extra tank in the sidecar and would like to be able to fill the main tank up if i break into the outlet from the fuel pump will it go back into the tank or is there a one way valve. Any other ideas appreciated.

Hi spav I don't think this is possible as the 1500 fuel tank has the pump inside it ?? you might have a better response if you try a motor cycle sidecar club .:waving::waving::waving: http://www.sidecars.org.uk

Get a small electric pump and install it in the sidecar with a switch you can reach while riding and install a fitting in the top of the bike tank to connect the hose to. The fuel pump on the bike will not allow fuel to pass back into the tank.
