Same problemwith the GL1100. The '80 and '81 have identical single pistons, the '82 has identical dual pistons on the left and right, the '83 has different sized dual piston on the left and right. Due to the Unified braking system.
Most vendors still have figured out that '82 and '83 are different. I would tend to think that all the GL1200 are the same, maybe the same as the '83.
After all, the '83 GL1100 was a working prototype for refinements used on the GL1200!
