Hi,

Can you please advise me on an incedent that occur whilst I was traveling home.

I approached a junction and as normal pulled the clutch lever in only too hear a sound that sounded like metal being drop into a metal tray, on releaseing the lever it went but on revving the engine a tad it came back.

Needless to say I have not used it since, has anyone any ideas please.

Nick.

I have never worked on the clutch for a 1500 but what you describe does not sound good.

My suspicions are that you will be doing a clutch rebuild, or it could be a bad UJ (universal joint).

There should be a 1500 clutch guru along shortly to be more helpful.
