I cracked the rear saddlebag corner piece that sits just under the rear left corner of the saddlebag (I reversed into a rock). Any suggestions for welding the plastic? I tried fibreglass but its no use as it cracks and falls away in no time.

You can use 5 min. Epoxy, comes in a clear injecter tube (like a shot) and it works great!

But I've used "JB Weld" on bike plastic and it works and gets real hard!!

If you use the JB Quick Weld (4 min setup) you have to work fast to smooth it out!

That's what I use but once it starts to dry in 2 or 3 min. you cant smooth it anymore!

I put my plastic mirror back together on my pick up truck and it's solid!!

The other day I JB welded a tab back on to my side cover, it's rock hard now!!

All the Auto parts stores have it!

UPol make a great plastic weld product. Two-part syringe and when you mix it it is black, just like the plastic on the wings. You can sand it down and then skim it off with some body filler and sand that for a perfect pre-spray surface.
