I have a 25th anniversary, 2000 Goldwing. The dash panel is discoloring, with a half circle dark grey taking over from right to left on the center panel between speed and rpm gauges. It is blocking the view for radio stations and other information. It appears to be a circle of grey about the same size as the rpm circle to the right. Seems to be moving to the left over time. Wondering if others have had this problem and if any suggestions?

Hey, I very much appreciate all the replies. I think I will look for a new display, new or used. In which case, if the LCD is separate from the other two gauges, I may as well give the rice try. I will say I'm amazed at all the help here. Thank you!

I live on the Puget Sound too, west of Seattle, so lots of moisture in the air. The comment about not washing it spraying directly onto the dash sure makes sense too. Anyway, I'll look for a new one now. Thanks again.
