GL1500 gears getting worse

I wrote about a month ago that my gears were getting louder as I shifted. I changed to a high quality Castrol motorcycle oil, the clutch feels good, no slippage at any speeds. But every gear I shift up on is getting a louder click, hit, or whatever you want to call it. I changed the clutch fluid and it grabs just right like it did before I changed the fluid. At first I thought it was the possibilty of putting in Rotella energy saver but now I doubt it. With no clutch adjustment how do I know if the lever is pulling the clutches in all the way. I'm baffled, the gear change noise is getting louder (to me) What the heck should I look for to find out if there is a problem? Any help on this one is extremely appreciated.
