Just wanted to say thanks for this forum for helping me fix my headlight problem.
After a short search I found this:
http://www.goldwingfacts.com/1500startbutton.htm
It was exactly what I needed. My switch needed to be disassembled, cleaned lubed with silicone grease to work. It also needed a dab of hot glue for a broken off tab. The headlight works great now.
I knew after I found the bulbs to be good but no juice to the plug I needed help.
The whole assembly was over $100(can't just buy the switch) and a pain to change, so this really made it simple and cheap, my favorite kind of fix!
