my headlight, tail lights in dash volt meter and driving lights all went at same time

only two weeks after buying. Its 82 gl1100 Aspencade.check all fuses with volt meter been checking wire with volt meter. There is two wires that go from acessory terminal on fuse block that goes to old type 3 terminal relay then relay has a ground wire to it. The one thing I have found is there is no power reading on the acessory terminal with volt meter wether i put ground wirefor volt meter to ground terminal on fuse block or put ground wire on volt meter to negative terminal on battery with key on. I put a ground wire from the ground terminal on fuse block to a ground on bike just encase ground was bad. the way this is wired is key on headlight comes on and then you can turn on driving lights. It has a rocker switch. If you turn off key all lights go out. or rather thats the way they are supposed to do but right now dont do nothing. But accesory terminal on relay wouldnt have anything to do with head lights and tail ligthts would they? Brake lights do work. Would the relay affect the headlights and tail lights? I have checked every fuse in the fuse block and the one that is on power wire from acessory terminal on fuse block to relay. Its good. Bike starts good and runs good just no lights
