Gaswing - Have you been talking to my wife? Sounds like exactly what she would say. Never had the bike tore down this far before so I don't want to do it again if I don't have to.

Mr. Magic Fingers - Thanks for the bundle of information. Kinda scared to start cutting on the enclosures. I have thought about the LED's for the lights but the resistors you have to install bother me. Not very electronical minded. Thinking of replacing the headlights as well since I have it all off because on low beam I can't see very far in front of me and living in the country I don't like that. I do like the high beams though and wish I could leave them on all the time. As for the speedo cable, how do I lube that and what lube should be used?

As always THANKS guys!!

You dont have to use resistors on your dash light bulbs if switching to led...just do a search for led dash lights and youll see what i mean....I wouldnt recommend using LED blue for hi beam light though if u ride a lot at night....way too bright...lol....you can also buy hid 4 bulbs that are much brighter but dont need the resistors for your headlights, we have 6000k 95/105 watt bulbs in our bike and they do not have resistors and work very well
