GL1500 LCD Display

Tomorrow I'm taking my instrument cluster out to repair the clock electronics.

I remember someone here saying that you should coat the edges of the LCD to help prevent it from separating.

But I can't remember what to coat it with.

Does anyone know what I am referring to?



And is it really worth doing?
