Good Morning All,
I have purchased a 1993 1500 se and the lcd display is totally dead. I have read about moisture on this site, but i dont think this is the problem as the cruise control is not working either. How would i test if there is power to these units. I have check the fuses and all is good. Thanks Guys

You most likely have two unrelated problems. LCDs do occasionally die off. Cruise control problems are often caused by sticky handlebar switches. For a start you will need to be k them out, and check the connector at the LCD for bad contacts or corrosion.

Have you put a multimeter on the battery? What are the volts?

thanks Alan, will check that. All switches seem fine. The compressor is not working either, that makes me think power, a relay or something

Have you checked the 2 5a fuses in the relay box behind the left saddlebag? Test them with the multimeter, both sides to see if you have voltage.

Yes the air pump relay could be bad, swap one of the other relays to test it.
