I've got a 1995 GL1500A and want to replace the mirrors. Just how do you get the darn things off? I did a search and couldn't find anything. Thanks.

Peel back the black rubber at the base of the mirror. Then you will see 3 screws. You can push the mirror both forward and back for better screw access. A long 10+" Phillips head screwdriver works best. That all you need. Good luck

I need to reposition the mirrors on my '99 SE but they seem to be frozen solid.

Is there a adjustment for the tension of the mechanism that holds them in place?

Thanks!
