GL1500 muffler question

Has anyone tried to fit the mufflers from a 1998-2000 GL1500 to an earlier (1996) one? Anyone know if they will fit, is so do I need any extra bits like adapters as well?

Yes they will fit without and additional bits. The mufflersfrom any year GL1500 are interchangeable with all GL1500s.
