I have a high pitch noise in cb and radio that goes with the rpm of the motor. I know I have a resister on the outside of the alternator. What can be done or has anyone had this problem? I have a 1995 GL 1500SE with 50,000 miles. Need help:stumped:

A high pitch whine is almost always alternator related. On the 1500 I find the need to replace or clean the brushes and this will usually fix the problem. Sometimes we also find the wire on the cap broken but you said it looked good.
