crankcase cannot vent, can shut engine off and wait for awhile pull dipstick and it trys to blow stick out of my hand, can,t vent. does anyone know where the PCV valve or crank, vent actualy is? not the hoses off the breather those just come off the bottom of air cleaner,, has to be a vent on the case its self somewhere. thx

Have you recently changed your alternator? or removed your airbox?

There is a main vent attached to the center top of the rear case. Looking in from the left side the vent is inboard of the alternator (UP on top of the rear case there) about 1" rearward from the mounting face of the alternator. The vent tube is held in place (onto the nipple in the rear case) with a spring clip and runs upward toward the base of the air cleaner assy.

Attached a marked-up image for ya:

The case vent is attached to a nipple on the flat-top of the rear case (just about level with the top of the installed alternator case)

Both ends of the vent hose are marked with pretty pink arrows so that you can get a better idea of its placement on your bike (we're looking at the left side of a removed engine here -- stolen from a current ebay ad)
