PO added clearance lights to trunk and side boxes.when i flip the switch to turn them on it pops a fuse on the fuse block.7.5amp.so,, now i dont have my add on lights or the lights on the side boxes.plus.when i hit the brakes my add on lights come on with brake lights,except side box lights remain out.driving me nuts!

Obviously they are wired wrong or have a short. You probably need to redo the whole mess that was added on.

thnx for the responce dave,the deal is the lights have been working fine since i bought it a year ago,rode home in the rain thats when it started popping the same fuse.i was eventually gonna switch to all LEDs anyway.

Badly routed wired with time could get pinch and brake the insulator shorting the circuit so like Dave say you have to revise the whole thing to find where the wire was dammaged :sadguy:
