GL1500 replacement speakers

My speakers14+ yrs. old on'95 SE. Metallic material's constantly flaking offcones on front; imaginerears are no better[they soundcracked anyway. Willreplacein winter]. Was wondering if I'm out of luck finding 3 ohmspeakers from anyone other thanHonda and didthey offerdeluxemodels orsinglechoice?
Was seriously considering marine speakers from local boat dealer.100% waterproof, but4 ohm; will causevolume reduction.
Radio volume hasstarted droppingoff anyway this riding season, making it necessary to turn volumeup more. Was planning to send unit to Sierra thiswinter. Just have another item for the fix list. TTFN.....Old Tom in NH, US

I got a set of 2 - 4" - 3 way speaker off eBay for $28.00 & they sound great.
Water proof too.
