The problem may be the switch is loosing contact when fully engaged. There should be voltage on the brown/white wire when the lever is all the way up. Put the lever in the 3/4 position and check for voltage then all the way, if voltage goes away when up the problem is the switch. If this is good then one of the power control relays or the reverse control unit could be bad.
