OK, I am torn (lol) between replacing the seat on my 1500 (it has a small tear and some obvious repair marks) or simply covering it with a seat cover.

The seat cover would probably be less expensive but is it the best solution?

I spent some time this morning looking at new seats and the Saddleman replacement looks confortable, but I would have to rob a bank to be able to afford it.

Suggestions???

I see the point about fixing it as much as possible if I am only going to cover it.

I am not that much of a mastermind so robbing the bank might be out of the question. I don't do well in prison.

Thanks Ken-1993 Interstate seat is $190. Still better than the $500+ for a Saddleman

Terry,

Can't you let some air out of the shocks to lower the profile so you can stand flat-footed?
