Hi All,

I don't know if this has been done or not but has anyone tried to change the yellow side marker lights with led strip lights ? I was thinking giving it a try but wanted to see if anyone has done it first.

Thanks

Thanks All,

I guess you use yellow Led for the side markers (size 5050 leds). I have to order sum from Super bright leds.

Thanks again

Yep..amber behind amber...red behind red....never use a white LED behind the plastic lens. Also check out meritline.com http://www.meritline.com/waterproof-led-strips-red-16-feet---p-72360.aspx
for the LED strips. A 16.4 foot roll of LEDs are $24.00 self adhesive and water proof. Can be cut to size from 3LEDs to most any length. I used one roll of red LED and did both trunk side light, both saddle bag light (2 strips each) and couple of the rear lights!

If your not in a big hurry to start, you can get them on eBay really cheap. Plan on waiting 3 weeks for delivery. I still have a full 5 meter roll of Red 5050 double row LED's. It made doing the rear lights easier.
Here's side markers with Amber 5050'
