Found this broken "Vacuum Solenoid" ? while pulling carbs to get to the dreaded leaking vacuum hose under the rubber insulating mat.
I'm looking for it's proper name, where to buy one and what it opperates please.
They are located on the right side fairing about carb heighth.

That is one of the air jet solenoids, they control the fuel mixture.

I doubt they would ever need it unless it sucked up pieces of the sub filter but then you might power it up and blow air back through.

They usually break up, I think from heat. I've had two of them crumble to bits on me.
