Another newbie question. Does anyone sell just the resistors for a 1988 gl 1500. I just tested mine andthey were5400,5200,5100, 4500,4800,4600 ohm. Not sure what this means but I was told they shouldn't be over 5000. What symptoms would this cause? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Since they are 5000 OHM resistors I would say they are mostly within tolerance. The one at 5400 may be suspect. If they are bad you would get a missfire under load, hard acceleration or steep hills.

You need to be sure you got all the air burped out of the cooling system. Can be difficult on a 2 radiator system.

How do you make sure all the air is out?
