GL1500 Starter/Reverse Button fix - tutorial

I had to repair a GL1500 starter/reverse button and the starter motor had to have new brushes and a cleanout as well. I did the button tutorial here;

http://www.goldwingfacts.com/1500startbutton.htm

The good news is that the button is easy enough to get to and open up.

Thanks to Mr Magic Fingers (Tim) for showing me how to make the text ballons in the tutorial pictures, which means less text needed on the pages and much larger thumbnails for clearer first-glance reference. I will probably do this from now on.

Those are very clear and sharp pictures Steve. Good thinking on making large thumbnails with text embedded in them. For most people it means they can see it all without even having to click the thumbnails unless they really need to see more. No more clicking back & forth on small thumbnails.

That is great, Steve. I shall be doing that this winter. So how about a tutorial on how to make those sexy text balloons?????????????/:baffled:

And how do you make the pics larger by clicking on them as well.

Nice work

Nice work
it would be 2 versions of the same picture Bob, the small ones will have links to the bigger ones. Putting all the full sized pictures on the tutorial page would make it take forever to load the page, the thumbnail pictures don't slow it too much.

I really like the text balloons/boxes, very practical and a nice touch.
