Changed one for a new unit this week. Its one of those jobs that will definitely be easier the second time you do one. Have a look further down this section, page 6 at the moment for the post by "Nyme" which will give you more detail of what is involved. GL1500 Starter/reverse switch
Hi all, I am having issues with this switch, I have taken it apart and cleaned it, stretched the springs a little that are behind the contacts, used dieelectric grease when reassembling like I saw in a thread on here and still having issues, not as bad as before, but still there. It has intermittent connectivity problems, my question is how hard is it to change this out, versus cleaning it again. Thanks for any and all replies.
