Anyone know of an Alternative Source, for a Temperature Sensor, that can be used on a GL1500's radiator?

Honda's unit is about $40

Also, FWIW - the sensor is just a switch 16 x 1.5 threading with a flat seal (o-ring = nice)

For a cooler temp (on @ 194*F ; OEM @~212*F) you can adapt from many including the 1988 Nissan Pulsar NX 1.8L (Autozone-SW524 , BWD-TFS543 , Napa-FS195). On these 2-wire sensors, you need to ad a ground conenction for one of the wires.

I know this is an old thread, but it was useful to me, so I'll update.
satan, the FS195 is a fuel strainer.
The TS195 maps to a temp sensor.

Both the TS195 and the TS86 can be had from RockAuto. Haven't compared to in-store prices yet.
