In the middle of my winter service and am contemplating whether to do the timing belts this year. My Gl1500 has 108k on the clock and the belts were replaced at 70k. My concerns are that if I replace the belts now, will the adjusters possibly need replacing at the same time.
As I prefer to have all parts to hand before I start on any job, is it a good idea to order a pair of adjusters (not cheap) with the new belts as it is best to replace them with that mileage on the engine, or to wait until I can inspect them ?
What I am really saying is; is it prudent to replace the adjusters after 108k miles ?
