GL1500 trunk

I have a 1992gl1500 SE. I can not open trunk, the lach moves but does not unlock trunk. How do I get trunk open. Can I get it open from the under side of the trunk ?

Try pushing down on the trunk lid as you unlatch it. That may release the mechanism.

Is the key lock in the unlock position? I know it sounds stupid, but it has been known to happen.:cool:

You are pulling down on the latches on the underside of the trunk Right?
