Hi and a Happy New Year to all,

I have a US spec radio/cassette on my GL1500 that jumps frequencies in increments of 2. This, it would appear, means that I am unable to tune to the majority of UK stations (I don't want radio 1 thanks)

Is anybody aware as to whether they can be converted to UK spec radios or do I need to buy a UK one.

Thanks

Steve

I think some one posted here months ago about a gadget you can plug-in to the back of the radio that gives you all the stations. I'll have a look back after work tonight.

Steve,

I have a japanise import gl 1500,i had the same problem with it. I had to geta band expander to solve the problem,it fits between the radio and the aerail cable and has a 12V live feed.It was available from car dealers who imported the older cars from japan, but i am not sure if it will work on the us bike,it might be worth a try, they cost about £20.

:15blue:best of luck with it.

Rock, the frequency expander will work. The display on the radio probably won't display the finer settings but at least you will have them.
