HELLO to ALL.

I have researched and collected many 1500 vin numbers over the last 6 months just as a fun project.

But recently someone asked me how many of the 1991 Anniversary models were made?

I know this much already.

The Interstate only came in Martini Beige that year

The Aspencade only came in Black

the SE only came in GOld/brown like the 85 Limited Edition color.

I have personal knowledge of about 5 owners and most of them have an ANniversary number less than 1,ooo.

I also looked at ebay today and noticed that an Interstate had the Number 581, and also a SE had the Number 585 so I dont believe they were made in batches.

Does Honda share this information or can I only get a rough idea by watching VIN numbers?

The VIN numbers are applied to the whole modle range, not seperately to the SE Interstate etc. The numbers are allocated in batches to different markets only (Canadian, UK etc).
Yes, I found that to be true as well. THe highest VIN number that I have found is 301267...or 1267 units. The 300xxx is the start number for for the 91 models.

400xxx is the start for the 92 models etc...

I was trying to find out how many SE's how many ASP. and how many INT were made, or I would be happy with any production numbers as they apply to each year.
