Look for a downloadable electrical troubleshooting manual.
it won't show exactly where the wiring goes but will get you pointed in the right direction.

Hey guys looked and looked fora wiring diagram showing the main wiring harnessand how its ran on the frame.. no luck so.....if any one has pics of a wing taken down to the frame for repairs or whatever showing any part of the wiring that would be great..found some on ebay helped a little...thanks.........mark

If you go to the component location pictures section od the ETM and go pic by pic you can see where all the components and connectors go. Begin by laying the harness on the frame and locating where everything plugs in. You should be able to figure out exactly where it routes by that method.

Thanks dave I`ll give that a try.......The reason i`m looking for pic etc. is i`m working on a basket case....with parts everywhere. PO completely disassembled the bike it is a bare frame bare engine...every sensor,relay.etc is all in parts all over the place. i can put it all back together. just like to see one with itall together.. far better to have a complete pic. of everthing is all.....thanks.......mark

Also look for the parts manual for 88-90's
