I'm told there are no stupid questions but my users guide says the vents should blow warm air if open. I get no air flow at all when open. Any ideas?

You have to be moving I assume you know, there is no fan and you will be disappointed in the heat you get from them anyway. I cut holes it the duct behind the vent to get some heat off the engine and it did help.

Is there a lever next to the vent? My 1500 has a lever next to the lower vents that shut the air flow on and off completely........... sorry, not very 1800 savy. Just yet.........

No there is no lever, just a little "handle" on the louvers to open and close them.

Mine too. Lever controls a flap to change air flow in the duct work.
