Is there an easy, non destructive way to get the rubber boot seated around the push rod shaft?

Plenty of lube and a thin screwdriver worked for me.

Thanks. Finally got it by removing the assy from the handlebar (so I could get a good angle on it) and using a couple pairs of hemostats to pinch it and tug it back into place.
