I am starting the search for a new seat. The latest reference to this topic on this forum, that I can find, is back in 2004. Looking for some new comments/suggestions for our 2009 GL1800. HARTCO, DIAMOND or RUSSELL. What are you sitting on? Do you like it? Does the passenger like it?

Thanks for your comments.

I have the Heartco and we both LOVE it. 56,000 miles on this one!Worth every dime! However not everyone's tush is the same. Some love the Corbin for its FIRMNESS! So the choice is not easy. One thing to keep in mind is that most all "better, comfy" custom seats do not accomodate the seat warmer of the stock seat. There are ways around that to keep teh grip heaters working, but for me with a 2005, I don't have a seat warmer or need one here in So. Calif.

All those saddle have different characteristics, if thats the right term. The Corbin is really low but harder and takes a few thousand miles to soften up. The Hartco and Russells are more comfortable from day 1 but they don't fit as well as the Corbin or OEM saddles.
