On some 1800's, they work well, on a few they don't work at all. On some, they have an occasional hiccup. That's mine. I was about ready to send it back, but figured out how to avoid most lock-ups. Works a treat, if I remember to switch radio to FM before shutting bike off. Especially, if I plan on an immediate re-start. Seems the data stream is slow, and doesn't like "interruption" while communicating with radio.
Go to electronics section of GL1800riders.com board, and read the "new gadget" thread.
I can't help but wonder,........is this the same player???
