GL1800 front speakers

my new to me 04 1800 front speakers have a proublem. the PO clames to have upgraded them last year but the left speaker has no sound and the right not real clear and sounds like it may be blown. they claim to have rarely used them and i believt they were installed by an audio shop and not a honda center. before i open them up,

1. could it be a loose wire?
2. reverse polarity?
3. a system proublem?
4. where might i find a audo diagram or schematic?

It could be any of the above. You will have to pull the speaker cover/meter panel and swap the left speaker to the right and see if it is still dead.

I am looking to replace my front speakers on my 2001 and pulled the meter panel off but cannot access one of the screws. On the left speaker, the top left is hidden and on the right speaker, the top right is hidden. What else do I need to remove? Thanks
