I'm going to try to post step by step on the tear down so mabe it will help others who just want to remove a panel. Then I'll start the cutting. After you start that you are deffently commited and can't go back. The trunk stay will have to be removed so here is where you starty removing the four bolts

After removing the accent light ortrim from inside the trunk compartment you'll see screws holding the lower panel under the trim.

To remove the seat there are two bolts on each side of the seat that holds the handles on. Remove them and the seat willl slide out.

Cobra 1800

After the thread catches quite a few eyes and a good following, I will put a sticky on it so as to keep it up on top of the page.

That way, if you have a slow day or something, it won't drop out of sight.

The tech forum is very popular and moves quickly.

Meanwhile, I have punched in 5 stars for it.

Good man, This is the 1st GL1800 custom build on here that I know of.
Should be a good build.
You could move my trike build "1993 Honda GL1500Se Trike build" back to the other page to make rooms.

Thanks AZgl1500 for the stars and sticky . Also skip for the support on this build. Hope I can give enought details so it may help others wanting to trike a 1800 also. I'll be using a camero rear end and 273 gear for this build. I also decided to use 16" tires.
