GL1800 Headlight Adjustment

I've been told by a local shop that there is no headlight adjustment for my '08 Wing. Does anyone have any different information? I find at night that the low beams just don't illuminate far enough out and the high beams (around town) tend to upset other drivers...any help appreciated.

Seems odd to me. My 2005 has a headlight adjustment knob on the left fairing panel. It amazes me that Honda would do away with that because depending on load the front of the bike could be higher or lower.

Mine has the adjustment knob as well...it just doesn't go up far enough. I was wondering if there was a mechanical way to adjust the limit of travel to raise the headlights. I probably didn't make that clear enough...any help appreciated.

Do you mean extra adjustment on top of whats available from the switch? Is this of any help?;

You can access that white plastic nut from underneath the fairing with a 12mm socket and long extension. Park 25-30 ft from a wall, in the dark. Get someone to help you, sit on the bike and raise the suspension all the way up. Turn the adjustment knob all the way up and have your helper adjust the headlights up to where they shine on the wall a little lower than the headlight level on the bike. This will give you the maximum amount of adjustment with the dial.
