They are all going to be in that price range... I share your frustration - - personally I can't see it for a mic and 2 speakers and I've always thought that they were all over priced, but that's the way it is...
Performance wise, in my opinion, they are all pretty much the same... Your not going to get the fidelity out the headsets that you would out a good air of stereo headphones so keep that in mind...
We use ours primarily for driver to passenger intercom - everything else comes thru the speakers on my bike...
