I have a 2006 Goldwing 1800. It has heated seats & heated grips. I had them on and they both seem to have quit and the fuse is not blown. What else do I need to look at to fix this? Because neither one works now.

A WAG would be they are ambient temperature dependent.

Common mode of failure is the left grip and since the grips are wired in series, they both go out... There is a relay under the seat and the actual controller is under the left saddlebag... I believe (but have not confirmed in my manual) that all the heaters are in series, so if this is actually the case, if one goes out, they all go out... I have been told that on more than one occasion...

There are a lot of threads about that same problem. As has been mentioned, the grip heaters are the most common failure. When one of them goes bad, you lose heat in both of them and the saddle.

My entire heated grip/seat system failed last year. Checking continuity in the seat and grips. I found the left grip had failed. replaced it this morning and now everything is back to normal.
