I need a front inner fender for a 2007 Wing. The dealer broke the clips and I heard it rattle. Rattle is gone with the fender. Any leads on where to buy a used or salvage fender?

If the dealer broke the fender why aren't they replacing it? I'd be all over their service department on this one. Fenders aren't cheap. I'll keep an eye out for you. You didn't say what color you are looking for.

Can't say it is worth the hassle. they have been good to me over the years. How can I prove it, even tho they are the only one's that have taken off the front wheel. sucks!

Used ones for the GL1800 are near impossible to find because so many have been broken by mounting fender extensions. New ones are.... If i remember... around $200, depending on color. You may want to work out a deal with the dealer who removed it.

Try finding an aftermarket one with a cool rain guard on it or something, that is what I would do, unless you are on good terms with that Dealer, and you can "splain" what happened.

OK, I'm the dumby here! Please explain "inner" fender??
My 1800 has a 2 piece fender on it. A front section and a rear section.
There is no inner fender panel?????????

Yes it is a two part fender. The back as I have been told breaks, but mostly on police bikes, due to their job. The dealer uses their old ones on those bikes. The dealer claims no responsibility due to I have no proof and the front tire was put on about 9 months ago. After taking off the chrome trim, I found the old, broken, fender was not installed properly. Being as it is Friday night at 8, there is no one to talk to, maybe tomorrow.

I ordered an inner fender from Cycle Parts Nation and as of yet, it is not the right part even though it says on the schematic it is. Tomorrow morning is another shot at aligning the bolt holes. Maybe they changed when I went to sleep. The wife agrees with me and says I need to raise hell with the dealer. Hmmmmmmmm! Hate to ruin the relationship I have with them, but........

Tomorrow is another try.

Forrest Forrest Gump. Stupid is as stupid does. The sun came out and I actually looked at everything and then started taking the front apart. Caliper, then brake line bracket and everything fell out of place. Patiently, everything fell back into place. Fits, aligns and looks good. I would buy from Cycle Nation again. Prompt service, the right part, good customer service and patience with a dummy.

Thank heaven for casinos as that is where the money came from to pay for the fender.
