You go into the ICOM Mode and leave it there when you are riding 2-up, then when you talk the radio is muted (it is voice activated) and you can carry on 2-way conversations. You do not have to Push anything to talk. You can also adjust how much the radio is muted when you talk as well. You need to cycle through you option menu and you will see a lot of settings you can change.
