I had a socket already in the left pocket when I purchased my 1800. The problem that I have with the location is once one item is plugged in, the pocket becomes mostly useless space. I purchased a 2 headed socket to make the plug ins movable, but the original plug in the wall is still taking up to much space. I am thinking of removing the socket in the side wall and hard wiring the 2 sockets so just the wire protrudes through the pocket wall and the 2 sockets can now just sit in the pocket and more stuff can be carried in that pocket.
