Hi gneiser and a warm welcome to the forums here. :waving:
When you have the pocket removed you will find a small cross on the front wall of the pocket. If you drill the hole here it will allow a Hondaline socket to be fitted and it will not foul anything in front when the pocket is re fitted.
I would personally advise getting either a Hondaline socket or an aftermarket one from somewhere like Cyclemax.com because not only will it fit nicely, but it will come with the correct plug on the end of the lead which will allow you to plug and play it to the corresponding socket that is inside the rubber boot just forward of where the pocket sits. The plug can be hard to discover, but trust me, it will be in there.
Fitting any old socket will then mean that you would need to splice wires in and that is not so great when you can just plug something in.
